Jess Murphy's Mezze Plate with Halloumi, Chickpea Fritters, and Hummus


  • 50g Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 Egg
  • Hummus 1 pack
  • Halloumi 1 pack
  • Pack of Falafel 
  • Mixed herbs 
  • Lettuce
  • Carrots x 2


  1. For the chickpea fritters, crush up the falafel and mix with grated carrots egg, flour, mixed herbs and baking powder into a bowl
  2. Divide the mixture into uniform patties
  3. Fry the patties in a large pan with olive oil for 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown
  4. Remove and add slices of halloumi, frying for about 1 minute on each side
  5. Place chickpea fritters and halloumi on a plate, and top it with hummus. Serve.
