Wasted food is a moral failure.

Over a third of our community partners can’t meet the basic food needs of their service, with 65% of them attributing the cost-of-living crisis as the primary cause.

40% of food is wasted globally, causing four times more carbon emissions than global aviation. Wasting food as we face these challenges is a moral failure, driving an environmental crisis and humanitarian concerns.  This year, we have witnessed the impact of war, climate catastrophe, food insecurity challenges and a cost-of-living crisis.  Since the start of 2020, we have grown our impact by 100%.

We know our work is more important now than ever and to continue to deliver this level of impact we are asking for your support.

Cuan Mhuire Addiction Treatment Centres Ireland

"With the support of FoodCloud and its partners, we have been in a position to provide additional support and services to the local community who find themselves in need of food parcels, particularly at Christmas. This would not be possible without the help and continued support of FoodCloud Ireland, particularly in the current economic climate, and we look forward to working with FoodCloud in the future.”

We are so grateful at Cheeverstown for FoodCloud in supplying us with great food and helping all of us to get through these times.”
