FoodCloud Features in The Times’ Culture Magazine

FoodCloud highlighted as part of Culture Magazine’s ‘Let’s talk about Living Progress’ tech series

Simon O’Neill’s in-depth interview with FoodCloud CEO, Iseult Ward, highlighted not only FoodCloud’s work to date and the impacts COVID-19 has had on our services, but also showcased our gleaning initiative. The initiative is the result of collaborations between key agriculture and corporate partners to rescue surplus food. Gleaning, which can be described as the act of collecting leftover crops from farmers’ fields and orchards after they have been commercially harvested, led to FoodCloud’s first-ever surplus product, FoodCloud Cloudy Apple Juice.

O’Neill also touches on FoodCloud’s ambitious plans to halve food waste by 2030 by continuing to lead the way towards an Ireland where no good food goes to waste. You can read the full Sunday Times article here.
