Repurposing Surplus Food for the Industry

This is a free online course developed by ATU in partnership with FoodCloud Academy that focuses on how to manage, reduce and eliminate food waste along the food supply chain.This course aims to help people working in the food industry to take a step back and understand why food is wasted in the first place. This course also aims to showcase the many ways food waste and losses and surplus food can be managed in order to reduce our negative impact on the environment. It provides background information on food waste and losses and practical ways to manage those.
It is the first course of its kind that is aimed at people working in the food industry. It gives this important group ideas on how to measure food waste and losses and how to deal with these.
