Food Circle is a two year project funded by the Department of Environment, Climate and Communications. It focuses on promoting policy interventions and best practices in surplus food redistribution and food waste reduction to reduce food loss and waste (FLW) in Ireland.

FoodCloud, in collaboration with project partners Clean Technology Centre (an independent, non-profit research organisation at Munster Technological University) and Kai Robertson (a global expert on food loss and waste), will work with food businesses, policymakers, and community groups in Ireland to support food redistribution and donation efforts as outlined in Ireland's Food Waste Prevention Roadmap.
