We offer volunteer roles for individuals, friends and families to sign up to become a regular weekly volunteer in one of our three hubs, in Dublin, Cork or Galway. Volunteering is a rewarding and tangible way to reduce wasted food and strengthen ties in your community. Every time we redistribute food to a charity or voluntary organisation it allows that organisation to spend more of its resources on core services like housing, education and health. By volunteering with FoodCloud, you are supporting the work of over 700 community and voluntary organisations nationally.

We rely on corporate teams and individuals who generously give their time to help us get food to people who need it. We offer a number of opportunities to support us in our three Hubs, picking and packing food on a daily or weekly basis, and assisting our community rescue drivers to deliver food to local charities. If you prefer an outdoor experience we offer team days gleaning surplus fruit and vegetables during harvest season. We also work with our corporate volunteer partners to engage employees further through lunch and learns, and / or serve the team lunch from FoodCloud Kitchen and communications support. FoodCloud can work with your company to create a Workplace Giving Programme through payroll donations and employee-matched funding. For every €1 donated, FoodCloud can help provide three meals to our network of charity and community group partners who are supporting some of the most vulnerable people in society.
